5.27
प्राक्शक्तेरथ सामर्थ्यं शक्तेः शक्तत्वमापतेत् । मनसो नच बाह्येऽस्ति तस्यापि प्रसरः क्वचित् ॥२७॥
prākśakteratha sāmarthyaṃ śakteḥ śaktatvamāpatet | manaso naca bāhye'sti tasyāpi prasaraḥ kvacit
— of a prior power ; — then ; — the capacity (would be needed) ; — of the power ; — (another) being-empowered ; — would befall ; — of the mind ; — and not ; — in the external ; — is there ; — of it too ; — going-forth ; — anywhere

Then the capacity of a prior power (would be required), and a (further) being-empowered of (that) power would befall (you, ad infinitum). Nor does the mind reside in the external (object); nor does it have any going-forth (to it) anywhere.
