4.38
इत्यभ्युपगमोऽस्माकं नैकेनान्यत्र तुल्यता । कल्प्या वैशेषिकाणां हि कर्तृतैवेश्वरे स्थिता ॥३८॥
ityabhyupagamo'smākaṃ naikenānyatra tulyatā | kalpyā vaiśeṣikāṇāṃ hi kartṛtaiveśvare sthitā
— thus ; — (this is) the accepted position ; — of us ; — not on one (point) ; — elsewhere (with another's system) ; — sameness, parity ; — is to be imagined ; — of the Vaiśeṣikas ; — for ; — agency alone ; — in the Lord ; — is established

Such is our accepted position; and on no single point is parity to be supposed with any other (system). For with the Vaiśeṣikas, agency alone is what is established in the Lord (whereas for us all reality is Śiva).
