नाभाष्य व्यवहारार्थमेवं वस्त्विति निश्चितम् । तथैवास्तु शिवावस्था केनासौ विनिवारिता ॥१४॥
nābhāṣya vyavahārārthamevaṃ vastviti niścitam | tathaivāstu śivāvasthā kenāsau vinivāritā
— not ; — having presented to awareness ; — for the purpose of transaction ; — thus ; — a thing ; — thus ; — determined ; — let it be just so ; — the Śiva-state ; — by what ; — this ; — precluded

(A thing) is not (first) brought to awareness for the sake of transaction and (only then) determined as 'thus is the thing'; (rather, it is real in itself.) Let the Śiva-state simply be so (in it) — by what is this precluded?
