विकल्पादेः समुत्पत्तिः सत एव प्रजायते ॥१३॥

vikalpādeḥ samutpattiḥ sata eva prajāyate

The arising of conceptual construction and the rest comes about from the existent alone (— for the non-existent can produce nothing).
