तेन वा सम्प्रतीतेऽर्थे क्रियते किं तदात्मना ।
तत्स्वरूपात्मसंयोगः संयोगोऽभिन्नदेशयोः ॥१११॥
tena vā sampratīte'rthe kriyate kiṃ tadātmanā |
tatsvarūpātmasaṃyogaḥ saṃyogo'bhinnadeśayoḥ
Or, by it, when the object is already cognized, what (further) is done by that self? (You would need) a conjunction of the self with (the object's) own-form — but conjunction (holds only) between two things occupying the same place (which the incorporeal self and corporeal object do not).
