एवंविधो घटोऽत्रास्ते इत्यात्मा प्रतिबोध्यते । तदेवं पूर्वदृष्टस्य वर्णनासदृशं भवेत् ॥१०९॥
evaṃvidho ghaṭo'trāste ityātmā pratibodhyate | tadevaṃ pūrvadṛṣṭasya varṇanāsadṛśaṃ bhavet
— of such a kind ; — a pot ; — here ; — is present ; — thus ; — the self ; — is informed, made aware ; — that being so ; — of what was previously seen ; — like a (verbal) description ; — it would be

(If you say) the self is informed 'a pot of such a kind is present here' — then, that being so, it would be (no more than) like a verbal description of something previously seen (and the mind would convey nothing new).
