विभिन्नशिवपक्षे तु सत्ये दार्ढ्यं परत्र नो । प्रतीतिमात्रमेवात्र तावता बन्धमोक्षता ॥७०॥
vibhinnaśivapakṣe tu satye dārḍhyaṃ paratra no | pratītimātramevātra tāvatā bandhamokṣatā
— on the view of a Śiva separate (from the world) ; — but ; — if it is real ; — firm reality ; — with respect to the other ; — not ; — mere appearance only ; — here ; — to that extent ; — the status of bondage and liberation

But on the view (of dualists) that Śiva is separate (from the world), if (Śiva alone) is real, there is no firm reality with respect to the other (the world); (the world being) mere appearance, to that extent (their) bondage and liberation (rest on something unreal).
