अथ शक्तेः परावस्था यैर्भक्त्या परिगीयते । युक्त्या प्रकाशितो देवस्ततः शक्तिदशा यतः ॥१॥
atha śakteḥ parāvasthā yairbhaktyā parigīyate | yuktyā prakāśito devastataḥ śaktidaśā yataḥ
— now ; — of Power ; — the supreme state ; — by whom ; — with devotion ; — is celebrated in song ; — by reasoning ; — is illumined, made manifest ; — the God ; — from him ; — the condition of Power ; — since

Now, that supreme state of Power which is devoutly celebrated by some — (in truth) it is the God who is manifested by reasoning (as the ground), for the condition of Power (proceeds) from him.
