पश्यन्त्याश्चेदविद्यात्वं तद्भोगौन्मुख्ययोगतः ।
मध्यमादेर्जडायाः किं भोगेन शबलात्मना ॥७०॥
paśyantyāścedavidyātvaṃ tadbhogaunmukhyayogataḥ |
madhyamāderjaḍāyāḥ kiṃ bhogena śabalātmanā
If (you say) Paśyantī's status as nescience comes by her being oriented toward experiencing that (fruit of merit) — then what experience, variegated in nature, can there be for the insentient Madhyamā and the rest?
