न च युक्तं स्मृतेर् भेदे स्मर्यमाणस्य भासनम्
तेनैक्यं भिन्नकालानां संविदां वेदितैष सः ॥३॥
na ca yuktaṃ smṛter bhede smaryamāṇasya bhāsanam
tenaikyaṃ bhinnakālānāṃ saṃvidāṃ veditaiṣa saḥ
— not; — and; — proper, possible; — of the memory; — if (the subject) be distinct (from the prior experience); — of what is being remembered; — the manifesting (illumining); — therefore; — the unity, the oneness; — of (the cognitions) of different times; — of the awarenesses; — the knower; — this one (is) he
And it is not possible for what is remembered to be manifested if the (remembering) subject were distinct (from the prior experience). Therefore there is a unity of the awarenesses of different times — this very one, their knower, is he (the Lord).
