15.5
भेदस्थितः शाक्तिमतः शक्तित्वं नापदिश्यते एषां गुणानां करणकार्यत्वपरिणामिनाम् ॥५॥
bhedasthitaḥ śāktimataḥ śaktitvaṃ nāpadiśyate eṣāṃ guṇānāṃ karaṇakāryatvapariṇāminām
— from (the standpoint of) abiding in difference ; — of the power-possessor (the Lord) ; — the status of being (his) power ; — is not (properly) ascribed ; — of these ; — of the guṇas (sattva, rajas, tamas) ; — which transform into instruments and effects

From the standpoint of abiding in difference, the status of being the Lord's power is not properly ascribed to these guṇas, which (merely) transform into instruments and effects.
