14.18
हेया त्रयीयं प्राणादेः प्राधान्यात् कर्तृतागुणे तद्धानोपचयप्रायसुखदुःखादियोगतः ॥१८॥
heyā trayīyaṃ prāṇādeḥ prādhānyāt kartṛtāguṇe taddhānopacayaprāyasukhaduḥkhādiyogataḥ
— to be discarded (avoided) ; — the triad (of states) ; — this ; — of the vital breath and the rest ; — because of (its) predominance ; — when agency is subordinate ; — through (its) connection with pleasure, pain, and the like, which mostly consist in its diminution and increase
