एकात्मनो विभेदश् च क्रिया कालक्रमानुगा
तथा स्यात् कर्तृतैवैवं तथापरिणमत् तया ॥१८॥
ekātmano vibhedaś ca kriyā kālakramānugā
tathā syāt kartṛtaivaivaṃ tathāpariṇamat tayā
— of the one (subject) whose self is single; — differentiation; — and; — action; — following the sequence of time; — so, thus; — would be; — agent-hood itself; — thus; — in that way; — not (really) transforming; — through it (the action)
And the differentiation of the single-natured (subject), which is action following the sequence of time, would thus be (his) very agent-hood; thus, without itself (really) transforming, through that (action it appears as agent and effect).
