9.45

यदा तु तत्रैव अधिष्ठातृरूपतया बीजात्मतयैव भानं तदा सुषुप्तावस्था

Transliteration (IAST)

yadā tu tatraiva adhiṣṭhātṛrūpatayā bījātmatayaiva bhānaṃ tadā suṣuptāvasthā

— in the form of the presider (the one who governs) ; — precisely as having the nature of a seed ; — the appearing ; — the deep-sleep state

But when, in that very triad, the appearing is in the form of the presider, precisely as having the nature of a seed, then it is the deep-sleep state.
