8.23

स च मलो विज्ञानकेवले विद्यमानो ध्वंसोन्मुख इति न स्वकार्यं कर्म आप्यायति

Transliteration (IAST)

sa ca malo vijñānakevale vidyamāno dhvaṃsonmukha iti na svakāryaṃ karma āpyāyati

— in the case of the one isolated by gnosis (the vijñānākala) ; — though present ; — on the verge of dissolution ; — its own effect ; — nourishes, feeds

And that impurity, though present in the one isolated by gnosis (vijñānākala), is on the verge of dissolution, and so it does not nourish its own effect, namely karma.
