8.15

तत्र परमेश्वरः पञ्चभिः शक्तिभिः निर्भर इत्य् उक्तम् स स्वातन्त्र्यात् शक्तिं तां तां मुख्यतया प्रकटयन् पञ्चधा तिष्ठति

Transliteration (IAST)

tatra parameśvaraḥ pañcabhiḥ śaktibhiḥ nirbhara ity uktam sa svātantryāt śaktiṃ tāṃ tāṃ mukhyatayā prakaṭayan pañcadhā tiṣṭhati

— with the five powers ; — replete, brimming full ; — out of his autonomy ; — in a predominant manner ; — making manifest ; — in fivefold (manner) ; — abides, stands

It has been said that the Supreme Lord is replete with the five powers. Out of his autonomy, making now this and now that power predominant, he abides in fivefold form.
