6.48

अत्र प्राणो जगत् सृजति तावती रात्रिः यत्र प्राणप्रशमः प्राणे च ब्रह्मबिलधाम्नि शान्ते ऽपि या संवित् तत्राप्य् अस्ति क्रमः

Transliteration (IAST)

atra prāṇo jagat sṛjati tāvatī rātriḥ yatra prāṇapraśamaḥ prāṇe ca brahmabiladhāmni śānte 'pi yā saṃvit tatrāpy asti kramaḥ

— the breath ; — the world ; — emanates ; — the night ; — the quiescence of the breath ; — in the abode of the brahma-aperture ; — even when (it is) stilled ; — consciousness ; — sequence

Here the breath emanates the world, and the night is of equal length, in which there is the quiescence of the breath. And even when the breath is stilled in the abode of the brahma-aperture, in that consciousness which remains there too there is sequence.
