The Essence of the Tantra12.3

12.3

कालुष्यापगमो हि शुद्धिः कालुष्यं च तदेकरूपे ऽपि अतत्स्वभावरूपान्तरसंवलनाभिमानः

Transliteration (IAST)

kāluṣyāpagamo hi śuddhiḥ kāluṣyaṃ ca tadekarūpe 'pi atatsvabhāvarūpāntarasaṃvalanābhimānaḥ

— the removal of turbidity (impurity) ; — purification, purity ; — turbidity, defilement ; — in (a self) that is of one (uniform) nature ; — the conceit of being commingled with another form that is not of its own nature

For purification is the removal of turbidity; and turbidity is the conceit, even in (a self) that is of one uniform nature, of being commingled with another form that is not of its own nature.
