11.23

एवम् अनुग्रहनिमित्तं शक्तिपातो निरपेक्ष एव कर्मादिनियत्यपेक्षणात्

Transliteration (IAST)

evam anugrahanimittaṃ śaktipāto nirapekṣa eva karmādiniyatyapekṣaṇāt

— as the cause of grace (favour) ; — the descent of power ; — independent (requiring no condition) ; — because (only the obscuring power) depends on the regularity of karma and the rest

Thus, as the cause of grace, śaktipāta is altogether independent, since it is (only the obscuring power that) depends on the regularity of karma and the rest.
