ग्लानिर्विलुण्ठिका देहे तस्याश्चाज्ञानतः सृतिः । तदुन्मेषविलुप्तं चेत्कुतः सा स्यादहेतुका ॥८॥
glānir viluṇṭhikā dehe tasyāś cājñānataḥ sṛtiḥ | tad-unmeṣa-viluptaṃ cet kutaḥ sā syād ahetukā ||

— languor, depression ; — robber ; — in the body ; — of it (glāni) ; — and ; — from ignorance ; — issuing forth ; — destroyed by the rising forth of That (Spanda) ; — if ; — whence? ; — it (glāni) ; — would arise ; — without cause

Languor is the robber of the body, and it issues from ignorance; if that (ignorance) is destroyed by the unmeṣa (rising forth) of Spanda — how could languor arise causeless?
