7.8
तस्माच्छिवेऽप्यविज्ञाते ज्ञाते वा शिव एव ते । सर्व एवात् एवैतद्भावनाकरणाच्च्युतम् ॥८॥
tasmācchive'pyavijñāte jñāte vā śiva eva te | sarva evāt evaitadbhāvanākaraṇāccyutam
— therefore ; — even with Śiva ; — unrecognized ; — or recognized ; — Śiva alone ; — they (all things) ; — all alike ; — for this very reason ; — this ; — from (the need of) meditative cultivation as instrument ; — is exempt

Therefore, whether Śiva be unrecognized or recognized, all those (things) are Śiva alone; and for this very reason this (recognition) is exempt from (any need of) meditative cultivation as an instrument.
