तस्मादुपायो वक्तव्यो दृष्टकार्यप्रसिद्धये ।
ततः स्वात्मक्रियौन्मुख्यमिच्छाप्रथमकोद्गमः ॥१२॥
tasmādupāyo vaktavyo dṛṣṭakāryaprasiddhaye |
tataḥ svātmakriyaunmukhyamicchāprathamakodgamaḥ
Therefore a means is to be taught for the accomplishment of visible effects; therein, first, (comes) the self's turning-toward action — the first arising of will (icchā).
