6.17
विद्याविद्ये द्वयं चास्य साधनं समवस्थितम् । अविद्यया जगत्कुर्याद्विद्यया मोक्षयेत्पशून् ॥१७॥
vidyāvidye dvayaṃ cāsya sādhanaṃ samavasthitam | avidyayā jagatkuryādvidyayā mokṣayetpaśūn
— knowledge and nescience ; — the pair ; — and of him ; — the means ; — is established ; — by nescience ; — the world ; — he would make ; — by knowledge ; — he would liberate ; — the bound souls

And the pair, knowledge and nescience, is established as his means: by nescience he would fashion the world, and by knowledge he would liberate the bound souls.
