5.43
न चान्यावयवैः सार्द्धं सम्बन्धग्रहणं पुरा । तस्मान्नान्येन गृह्यन्ते प्रत्यक्षेण कदाचन ॥४३॥
na cānyāvayavaiḥ sārddhaṃ sambandhagrahaṇaṃ purā | tasmānnānyena gṛhyante pratyakṣeṇa kadācana
— nor ; — together with the other parts ; — grasping of (their) connection ; — beforehand ; — therefore ; — not by another (means) ; — are they grasped ; — by perception ; — ever

Nor is there beforehand any grasping of (the seen surface's) connection with the other parts; therefore they are never grasped by perception through any other (means than consciousness itself).
