तेन ज्ञेयमेकमेव वस्तु भिन्ने ग्रहः कुतः ।
तथानुमानं न भवेद्धूमाग्न्योरन्वये क्वचित् ॥८३॥
tena jñeyamekameva vastu bhinne grahaḥ kutaḥ |
tathānumānaṃ na bhaveddhūmāgnyoranvaye kvacit
Therefore the knowable reality is to be understood as one alone; whence (could there be) apprehension of a (truly) separate (object)? Likewise inference could nowhere arise (if there were) no (real grounding for) the concomitance of smoke and fire.
