नाशः कटकरूपेण सद्भावः कुण्डलादिना ॥५४॥
nāśaḥ kaṭakarūpeṇa sadbhāvaḥ kuṇḍalādinā
— destruction ; — in the form of a bracelet ; — existence ; — in (the form of) an earring and the like

(What is called) destruction (is merely the gold's ceasing) to be in the form of a bracelet, (while its) existence (continues) in the form of an earring and the like (— substance neither perishes nor newly arises).
