किं शिवत्वेन तद्व्याप्तमव्याप्तं वाभिधीयताम् ॥५५॥
kiṃ śivatvena tadvyāptamavyāptaṃ vābhidhīyatām
— whether ; — by Śiva-nature ; — that (whole world) ; — pervaded ; — unpervaded ; — or ; — let it be stated

Let it be stated whether that (entire world) is pervaded by Śiva-nature or is unpervaded (— for on either alternative the opponent is undone).
