कटकेऽस्ति सुवर्णत्वं कुण्डले कल्पनास्ति किम् ।
चित्रवह्नावशोकादौ कल्पना राजते क्वचित् ॥८४॥
kaṭake'sti suvarṇatvaṃ kuṇḍale kalpanāsti kim |
citravahnāvaśokādau kalpanā rājate kvacit
In a bracelet there is goldness; is there (mere) imagining in an earring? (No.) Imagining holds, in some cases — as with a painted fire or a painted aśoka tree (where the fire and tree are unreal); (but the world's reality is not of that order).
