अङ्गाररूपे किं वह्नौ वह्निता न क्रियात्मके ।
ज्वालादिकेऽथ सावस्था न क्रिया ज्ञानरूपिणी ॥५७॥
aṅgārarūpe kiṃ vahnau vahnitā na kriyātmake |
jvālādike'tha sāvasthā na kriyā jñānarūpiṇī
Is there fire-ness in fire that has the form of (smouldering) charcoal, but not when it is active as flame and the rest? Or (rather), is not that very (smouldering) state (already) action, having the form of knowledge?
