3.25

एवं सति समग्रस्य व्यवहारस्य भङ्गिता । तथैवं संप्रवृत्तौ तु निमित्तकलनापतेत् ॥२५॥

evaṃ sati samagrasya vyavahārasya bhaṅgitā | tathaivaṃ saṃpravṛttau tu nimittakalanāpatet

— this being so ; — of the whole ; — of conventional dealing ; — collapse ; — likewise ; — thus ; — when (creation) is in full operation ; — but ; — the supposing of an (efficient) cause ; — would ensue

(Objection:) This being so, the whole of conventional transaction collapses; and likewise, when (creation) is thus in full operation, the positing of an efficient cause (for it) would (incoherently) ensue.
