आरम्भे दृष्टिमापात्य तदौन्मुख्यं हि गम्यते ।
व्रजतो मुष्टितां पाणेः पूर्वः कम्पस्तदेक्ष्यते ॥१४॥
ārambhe dṛṣṭimāpātya tadaunmukhyaṃ hi gamyate |
vrajato muṣṭitāṃ pāṇeḥ pūrvaḥ kampastadekṣyate
— if one casts one's gaze upon it at the very outset, its incipient stirring (toward waviness) is indeed apprehended; just as, in a hand about to close into a fist, a preliminary tremor is then observed.
