3.6
एवम् अन्योन्यभिन्नानाम् अपरस्परवेदिनाम् ज्ञानानाम् अनुसंधानजन्मा नश्येज् जनस्थितिः ॥६॥
evam anyonyabhinnānām aparasparavedinām jñānānām anusaṃdhānajanmā naśyej janasthitiḥ
— thus, on this view ; — of (cognitions) mutually distinct ; — of (cognitions) not cognizing one another ; — of cognitions ; — arising from synthesis (unifying connection) ; — would be destroyed ; — the (ordered) life of people, common practice

Thus, if cognitions are mutually distinct and do not cognize one another, then the ordered life of people, which arises from (their) synthesis, would be destroyed.
