teṣāṃ kārmo malo 'py asti māyīyas tu vikalpitaḥ

Those who have the form of the void and other non-cognizant states, yet are (still) agents, are the Pralayākalas; for them the kārma-impurity also exists, while the māyīya is present only in a latent (residual) form.
