एवम् अन्तर्बहिर्वृत्तिः क्रिया कालक्रमानुगा
मातुर् एव तदन्योन्यावियुक्ते ज्ञानकर्मणी ॥१॥
evam antarbahirvṛttiḥ kriyā kālakramānugā
mātur eva tadanyonyā-viyukte jñānakarmaṇī
— thus; — operating inwardly and outwardly; — action; — following the sequence of time; — of the cognizing subject alone; — that; — mutually inseparable; — knowledge and action
Thus action, operating inwardly and outwardly and following the sequence of time, belongs to the cognizing subject alone; and (his) knowledge and action are mutually inseparable.
