स एष कलुषी क्षुद्रश्छिद्रप्रेक्षी धनञ्जय । रजःप्रवृत्तो मोहात्मा मनुष्याणामुपद्रवः ॥ ३-४२ ॥
sa eṣa kaluṣī kṣudraśchidraprekṣī dhanañjaya | rajaḥpravṛtto mohātmā manuṣyāṇāmupadravaḥ || 3-42 ||
— this very one, defiling and base ; — watching for weaknesses ; — O Dhanañjaya ; — driven by rajas, deluding in essence ; — the affliction of men
