एष सूक्ष्मः परः शत्रुर्देहिनामिन्द्रियैः सह ।
सुखतन्त्र इवासीनो मोहयन्पार्थ तिष्ठति ॥
३-३९ ॥
eṣa sūkṣmaḥ paraḥ śatrurdehināmindriyaiḥ saha |
sukhatantra ivāsīno mohayanpārtha tiṣṭhati ||
3-39 ||
— this is the subtle, supreme enemy ; — of embodied beings, together with the senses ; — seated as if intent on pleasure ; — abides, deluding, O Pārtha This subtle and supreme enemy abides with the senses of embodied beings; seated as if intent on pleasure, it deludes them, O Pārtha.
