त्रैगुण्यविषया वेदा निस्त्रैगुण्यो भवार्जुन । निर्द्वन्द्वो नित्यसत्त्वस्थो निर्योगक्षेम आत्मवान् ॥ २-४६ ॥
traiguṇyaviṣayā vedā nistraiguṇyo bhavārjuna | nirdvandvo nityasattvastho niryogakṣema ātmavān || 2-46 ||
— the Vedas have the three guṇas as their domain ; — become free of the three guṇas, Arjuna ; — free of the pairs of opposites, ever fixed in purity ; — indifferent to gain and security, self-possessed

The Vedas have the three guṇas as their domain; be free of the three guṇas, O Arjuna, beyond the pairs of opposites, ever abiding in purity, indifferent to acquisition and security, and possessed of the Self.
