देही नित्यमवध्योऽयं देहे सर्वस्य भारत ।
तस्मात्सर्वाणि भूतानि न त्वं शोचितुमर्हसि ॥
२-३१ ॥
dehī nityamavadhyo'yaṃ dehe sarvasya bhārata |
tasmātsarvāṇi bhūtāni na tvaṃ śocitumarhasi ||
2-31 ||
— this embodied self is ever unslayable ; — in the body of every being ; — O Bhārata ; — therefore for any of the beings ; — you ought not to grieve This embodied self in the body of every being is ever unslayable, O Bhārata; therefore you ought not to grieve for any of these beings.
