यावदेतान्निरीक्षेऽहं योद्ध्रुकामानवस्थितान् ।
कैर्मया सह योद्धव्यमस्मिन् रणसमुद्यमे ॥
१-२२ ॥
yāvadetānnirīkṣe'haṃ yoddhrukāmānavasthitān |
kairmayā saha yoddhavyamasmin raṇasamudyame ||
1-22 ||
— until I survey these ; — those eager to fight ; — drawn up ; — with whom, together with me ; — is to be fought ; — in this enterprise of battle so that I may survey those who stand here eager to fight, with whom I must do battle in this undertaking of war;
