अस्मिंश् च तत्त्वकलापे ऊर्ध्वोर्ध्वगुणं व्यापकं निकृष्टगुणं तु व्याप्यम्

Transliteration (IAST)

asmiṃś ca tattvakalāpe ūrdhvordhvaguṇaṃ vyāpakaṃ nikṛṣṭaguṇaṃ tu vyāpyam

— in this collection of principles ; — that with successively higher qualities ; — the pervader ; — that with fewer (lower) qualities ; — the pervaded

And in this collection of principles, that which has successively higher qualities is the pervader, while that which has fewer qualities is the pervaded.
