किञ्चित्कर्तृत्वं किञ्चिद्भागसिद्धये क्वचिद् एव कर्तृत्वम् इत्य् अत्र अर्थे पर्यवस्यति क्वचिद् एव च इत्य् अत्र भागे रागतत्त्वस्य व्यापारः

kiñcitkartṛtvaṃ kiñcidbhāgasiddhaye kvacid eva kartṛtvam ity atra arthe paryavasyati kvacid eva ca ity atra bhāge rāgatattvasya vyāpāraḥ
Limited agency, for the sake of accomplishing the "limited" portion, comes down to this meaning: "agency only with regard to something." And in that "only with regard to something" lies the operation of the principle of Attachment.
