4.18

लौकिके ऽपि वा अभ्यासे चिदात्मत्वेन सर्वरूपस्य तस्य तस्य देहादेः अभिमतरूपताप्रकटीकरणं तदितररूपन्यग्भावनं च इति एष एव अभ्यासार्थः

Transliteration (IAST)

laukike 'pi vā abhyāse cidātmatvena sarvarūpasya tasya tasya dehādeḥ abhimatarūpatāprakaṭīkaraṇaṃ taditararūpanyagbhāvanaṃ ca iti eṣa eva abhyāsārthaḥ

— even in ordinary, worldly practice ; — by virtue of having consciousness as its self ; — of that which is of all forms ; — the making-manifest of the desired form ; — the suppression of its other forms ; — the meaning/purpose of practice

Or rather, even in ordinary practice — since everything, having consciousness as its self, is of all forms — the meaning of practice is just this: the making-manifest of the desired form of this or that body and so on, together with the suppression of its other forms.
