2.40
तथाप्यविद्यया योगः पश्यन्त्यात्मानमेव चेत् । अन्धमूकं जगद्बाह्ये सर्वमेव भविष्यति ॥४०॥
tathāpyavidyayā yogaḥ paśyantyātmānameva cet | andhamūkaṃ jagadbāhye sarvameva bhaviṣyati
— even so ; — through nescience ; — conjunction ; — Paśyantī ; — only herself ; — if ; — blind and dumb ; — the world ; — in the external (sphere) ; — everything whatsoever ; — will become

And even so, (if) Paśyantī's conjunction through nescience is only with herself, then the whole world in the external sphere will turn out blind and dumb (— with no real cognition of objects).
