तत्वान्यत्वैरवाच्या वा यद्यविद्याभिधीयते ॥३०॥
tatvānyatvairavācyā vā yadyavidyābhidhīyate
— by (the alternatives of) sameness and difference ; — inexpressible ; — or ; — if ; — nescience ; — is declared

Or if this nescience is declared to be indescribable in terms of either identity with or difference from (Paśyantī) — (then the same fatal objections that apply to the Vedāntins' avidyā apply here too).
