सक्रमत्वं च लौकिक्याः क्रियायाः कालशक्तितः
घटते न तु शाश्वत्याः प्राभव्याः स्यात् प्रभोर् इव ॥२॥
sakramatvaṃ ca laukikyāḥ kriyāyāḥ kālaśaktitaḥ
ghaṭate na tu śāśvatyāḥ prābhavyāḥ syāt prabhor iva
— the being sequential; — and; — of worldly (action); — of action; — from the power of time; — holds, is possible; — but not; — of the eternal (action); — of (the action) belonging to the Lord; — it would be (the case); — as for the Lord
Sequentiality holds of worldly action through the power of time, but not of the eternal action belonging to the Lord; for him it would be otherwise (free of sequence).
