संन्यासं कर्मणां कृष्ण ! पुनर्योगं च शंससि । यच्छ्रेयानेतयोरेकस्तं मे ब्रूहि विनिश्चितम् ॥ ५-१ ॥

saṃnyāsaṃ karmaṇāṃ kṛṣṇa ! punaryogaṃ ca śaṃsasi | yacchreyānetayorekastaṃ me brūhi viniścitam || 5-1 ||

— the renunciation of actions, O Kṛṣṇa ; — and again yoga you praise ; — which one of these two is better ; — tell me that, decisively

You praise the renunciation of actions, O Kṛṣṇa, and again you praise yoga; tell me decisively which one of these two is the better.
