2.69

इन्द्रियाणां हि चरतां यन्मनोऽनुविधीयते । तदस्य हरति प्रज्ञां वायुर्नावमिवाम्भसि ॥ २-६९ ॥

indriyāṇāṃ hi caratāṃ yanmano'nuvidhīyate | tadasya harati prajñāṃ vāyurnāvamivāmbhasi || 2-69 ||

— of the wandering senses ; — that mind which follows after ; — that carries off his wisdom ; — as the wind a boat upon the water

For the mind that follows after the wandering senses carries off his wisdom, as the wind carries off a boat upon the water.
