पापमेवाश्रयेदस्मान् हत्वैतानाततायिनः ।
तस्मान्नार्हा वयं हन्तुं धार्तराष्ट्रान्स्वबान्धवान् ॥
१-३७ ॥
pāpamevāśrayedasmān hatvaitānātatāyinaḥ |
tasmānnārhā vayaṃ hantuṃ dhārtarāṣṭrānsvabāndhavān ||
1-37 ||
Sin alone would cling to us were we to slay these aggressors; therefore we ought not to kill the sons of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, who are our own kinsmen.
