1.10

अपर्याप्तं तदस्माकं बलं भीमाभिरक्षितम् । पर्याप्तं त्विदमेतेषां बलं भीष्माभिरक्षितम् ॥ १-१० ॥

aparyāptaṃ tadasmākaṃ balaṃ bhīmābhirakṣitam | paryāptaṃ tvidameteṣāṃ balaṃ bhīṣmābhirakṣitam || 1-10 ||

— unbounded, not fully measured ; — that (force) of ours ; — the strength, force ; — guarded by Bhīma ; — limited, measured ; — but this (force) of theirs ; — guarded by Bhīṣma

Unbounded is that force of ours, guarded by Bhīma, whereas this force of theirs, guarded by Bhīṣma, is limited.
