13.25

एवं स्थिते उत्तराभिमुखम् उपविश्य देहपुर्यष्टकादौ अहम्भावत्यागेन देहतां दहेत् सन्निधाव् अपि परदेहवत् अदेहत्वात् ततो निस्तरङ्गध्रुवधामरूढस्य दृष्टिस्वाभाव्यात् या किल आद्या स्पन्दकला सैव मूर्तिः तदुपरि यथोपदिष्टयाज्यदेवताचक्रन्यासः प्राधान्येन च इह शक्तयो याज्याः

Transliteration (IAST)

evaṃ sthite uttarābhimukham upaviśya dehapuryaṣṭakādau ahambhāvatyāgena dehatāṃ dahet sannidhāv api paradehavat adehatvāt tato nistaraṅgadhruvadhāmarūḍhasya dṛṣṭisvābhāvyāt yā kila ādyā spandakalā saiva mūrtiḥ tadupari yathopadiṣṭayājyadevatācakranyāsaḥ prādhānyena ca iha śaktayo yājyāḥ

— having sat facing north ; — with regard to the body, the subtle body (puryaṣṭaka), and the rest ; — by the abandonment of the sense of "I" ; — should burn away (his) body-ness ; — because, like another's body, it is bodiless (for him) ; — of one established in the waveless, fixed abode ; — by the natural character of (his) vision ; — the primal pulse (the first throb) ; — the (divine) embodiment (the seat) ; — the imposition of the wheel of deities-to-be-worshipped, as instructed ; — the powers are what is to be worshipped

This being so, having sat facing north, with regard to the body, the subtle body, and the rest, by abandoning the sense of "I" he should burn away his body-ness — since, even when present, it is bodiless for him, like another's body. Then, for one established in the waveless, fixed abode, by the natural character of his vision, that which is the primal pulse is itself the (divine) seat; and upon it (is made) the imposition of the wheel of deities-to-be-worshipped as instructed. And here it is principally the powers that are to be worshipped.
